Do I have to have wires ran all through my house to have a security system?
No-Mission Valley Security uses the latest wireless technology in our security systems. Whether we choose the Paradox wireless security or 2GIG wireless security both are an outstanding alternative to wiring the home for security. With that being said we do prefer to wire all new home construction if possible.
What happens if I accidentally set my alarm off?
Mission Valley Security programs all our alarm systems to send the monitoring center a cancel code if an authorized user disarms the system. If our monitoring center receives this code within 90 seconds of an alarm activation no police are dispatched. As a secondary precaution we set all our customers up with a password so the monitoring center can contact them after an alarm activation to cancel any police or fire dispatch.
What happens if I do not set my alarm and there is a fire or environmental event in my home?
Mission Valley Security programs all our panels to notify authorities or authorized personal whenever a fire or environmental event occurs.
Can I disconnect my landline telephone and still have an alarm system?
Yes Mission Valley Security utilizes the latest in cellular and IP communication of alarm events.
Can I arm, disarm or see my system status even when I am not at home?
Yes, Once again Mission Valley Security utilizes the latest cellular an IP Technology allowing you to remotely control your system and get notifications of an alarm event.
